MOORHEAD YOUTH SOCCER CLUB ANNOUNCES!
ADVANCED SOCCER TRAINING PROGRAM

Starting September 2009 and running through early May 2010, all soccer players from the Red River Valley will be able to train and play soccer all year round, to advance technically, increase confidence and ultimately play to their best potential and make proper decisions during games. The focus will be on player development, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Players will be placed in their respective age group, starting at U8 (must turn 8 before July 31st, 2010) up to a possible U18 girls/boys elite team.
MYSC director of coaching will be involved in training all age groups along with qualified coaches who will be selected to lead each age group and have demonstrated enthusiasm and positive interaction with children, as well as a good knowledge of the game.
Approximately 50 hours of training:
Cost: $250 per player ($200 per player involved with high school soccer and/or participating in 7/8th grade competitive leagues/Recreational Program.) Please contact Moorhead Soccer Office for Payment specifics.
- 20-25 hours from September-October 2009, Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings.
- 10-15 hours from November 2009 - March 2010,
- Remaining hours to be completed in April-May 2010.
- Games will be provided but will not be the main focus.
- Two to three tournaments will be organized for players to participate tournament fees will be extra charge.
Advanced Soccer Training is designed so that it should not interfere with players' involvement in recreational or competitive soccer programs at their local clubs. The program's goal is to provide a supplement for players interested in developing their soccer skills. The program will also try its best to minimize conflicts with other sports and activities.
